On 05 November 2020, the Government issued the Decree No. 132/2020/NĐ-CP (“Decree 132”) prescribing tax administration for enterprises involved in associated transactions.
The Decree No. 132/2020/NĐ-CP took effect from 20 December 2020 and has been applied to corporate income tax period of 2020. This Decree supersedes the Decrees No. 20/2017/NĐ-CP dated 24 February 2017 (“Decree 20”) and No. 68/2020/NĐ-CP dated 24 June 2020. In addition, the contents of contractor tax and application of DTAAs have drawn the attention from many businesses.
